Limitations of this check

This check does not cover the homepage for this website as it belongs to a separate service.

This check does not cover downloads linked to from item pages as:

• they use technical and/or scientific data formats that cannot be easily provided in an accessible alternative
• they contain detailed and specialist information that cannot be easily conveyed in plain language

Results of this check

Some issues were found when reviewing the sample content:

• the website feedback widget does not work when CSS styles are disabled
• some links within item descriptions may not include sufficient context (such as DOIs)
• whilst images include alternate text, values do only explain the context of each image, not their contents
• item tabs are not visually highlighted when using a keyword to navigate
• some page elements have poor colour contrast
