> This is an entirely fictitious product to demonstrate how ISO 19915 metadata can be used to set ArcGIS item
metadata. The remainder of this abstract is included purely to give a more realistic abstract length.
Custard is an incredibly valuable commodity for ensuring staff morale, as the 2005 custard riots, where a
delayed first call caused staff at Signy station to briefly rebel, shows.
Ensuring a consistent supply of custard is therefore essential to ensure BAS operations run smoothly. This map
shows the five strategic custard reserves constructed by the British Antarctic Survey to ensure suitable
quantities of custard can always be obtained.
Each reserve is capable of storing 1 million tonnes of custard in powered form. Given the value of custard
itself, and the potential risk of sabotage due to its highly combustable nature, the location of these sites
is considered highly sensitive with restricted distribution.
