Abstract:
This is side B of a double-sided map. The map covers Signy Island and the surrounding islands and rocks at
1:10 000 scale. Displaying topographic data in more detail than side A, this map shows the diverse and
isolated island of Signy, one of the South Orkney Islands. Signy Research Station is located on the map,
alongside huts present around the island. Bathymetry and offshore rocks from hydrographic charts are shown
on the map, as well as shallow, shoal areas.
Purpose:
