Seismic reflection and refraction shot gathers from Korff Ice Rise, West Antarctica, 2015
GB/NERC/BAS/PDC/01970

Summary

Abstract:
In 2015 a 3.7 km long seismic reflection profile was collected along the ice divide at Korff Ice Rise, West Antarctica, aiming to study basal conditions and englacial properties. Additionally, short refraction shot gathers were collected to study firn properties and constrain P-wave velocities in the firn. This dataset consists of the reflection and refraction data as a series of SEG-Y files.

This study is part of the British Antarctic Survey programme Polar Science for Planet Earth. All data were collected with the support of the British Antarctic Survey.
